Why 9 Months of Grace?

This site was initially created to actively document the 9 months of the pregnancy of my first son, Gabriel, sharing with the world the miracle that was taking place within my womb, day to day, from its very start until the big day of birth. Well, 5 years and 3 kids later here I am again. On a new chapter and ready to share with the world my life adventures and revelations as a wife and mom of 3 little boys :).

My name actually is “grace”, but the grace I hope to share about on this blog really refers to the true and greatest grace of all that comes from God alone. This play on words is meant to reawaken in me the deeper meaning of life and the grace He gives us to live it.

Who is Grace?

My full name is Mary Grace Hermano Pingoy, though most my friends do call me Grace.  I’m 33 years old, married to this handsome man named Ray for almost 8 years. My husband and I met through catholic youth missionary work and still have a great heart for it.  We speak nationwide to youth and young adults on chastity, the beauty of waiting and the love of God in a world that so desperately longs for something more.  I’m also blessed to have started my own small business jmotivephotography.com as a Children’s and Family Photographer based in NW Indiana, just outside Chicago.

I’m a wife, mom, photographer, writer, graphic designer, traveler, adventure-seeker…while at the same time rather be at home in my pajamas, lover of life, potatoes, macs, HGTV and good old fashioned movies.

I also speak spanish and love spanish food, and though I’m not Latina, (I’m of Filipino descent), I sometimes feel like I am because I spent 2 of the best years of my life in Latin America doing mission work right out of college.

Can’t wait to see what God has in store next!
